California Dreaming

The Farley Sisters"A Unique blend of voices make up the group "The Farley Sisters". Members include Pamela Weeks, Barbara Farley and Judy Farley. All three are great in their own right - but when you put the three vocals together it will make you pause and definitely listen. Barbara and Judy have been singing together since they were old enough to talk. They performed for years as the "Farley Sisters". Barbara says "Dad use to sing and play the guitar everyday. It's some of my favorite memories. When he sang Judy and I sang with him - whether he wanted us to or not. Ha" The two sisters performed with their group "Sassy Country" for many years and competed in the "GMC Country Showdown" which they placed in the top three. The group "Sassy Country" still has the opportunity to get together several times a year and perform in the Monterey and San Jose area. Other members of that group are (Jeff Griffin guitar and vocals and Bruce Mitchell, drums.) The sisters also started an all girl group "Western Lace", performing for various functions around the Monterey area and appearing several times for the Country Music Association showcases. Barbara has performed with two other bands "Cimarron" and Crossroads". She has sang at many large festivals such as "Squid Festival", "Artichoke Festival" and the Salinas Rodeo along with performing at the "World Premier" of the "Unforgiven." Getting the unique opportunity to sing with the legend "John Denver". Pam has a wonderful career in children's television and has been making kids sing and dance for the last 14 years. You can see Pam and her dog Buffy at "American Adventures" headlining as the "Pam & Buffy" show. Her television show is shown weekly on Channel 14. Pam is a driven individual, it is important to her to make a difference in children's lives and she does. For years she has promoted children's organizations and taught troubled children through the inspiration of music. She has definitely made a difference to everyone that has known her. Barbara and Judy met Pam while competing in a recording competition at Sound Tracks Recording Studio. Barbara and Judy were competing in the group category and Pam in the solo category. As luck would have it Judy and Barbara won their category and so did Pam. That's when it all started. They knew they were destined to sing together. Once they put their voices together the blend took their breath away. "There's nothing like a close harmony and that's the sound of "The Farley Sisters".
